Symmetrie ist in der koreanischen Baukunst allgegenwaertig. Auch die naturverbundene Lebensart der Koreaner spiegelt sich in ihrer Architektur wieder, die bewusst Elemente der Natur mit einbezieht. Trotz der symmetrischen Bauweise, die sich mit dem Fibinaccifolgenaufbau natuerlicher Elemente widerspricht, werden florale Elemente auf die Gebauede uebertragen und geschwungene Elemente eingesetzt. Die umgebende Vegetation des Gebauedes wird menschlich beeinflusst und der architektonischen Symmetrie angepasst. Natur und Architektur bilden letzendlich eine Symbiose.
